For my immediate family, I'm much more worried about mental health issues


than I am covid.

My wife has been super vigilant about covid. there was one point where SHE deemed my 11 YO to have had a "contact" (our school did NOT deem it as such) and she forced our daughter to stay in her room for like a week. didn't let her come out hardly (i did when the wife wasn't around)

when the shot became available for 5 and up my daughter was one of the first ones locally in line. that madness of quarantining over basically nothing had to stop. my daughter is resilient, but i know kids (my next door neighbor being 1) that ended up depressed and with suicidal tendencies. obviously the pandemic has taken it's toll on my wife. IMO mental health over this stuff is more dangerous for MOST than the disease itself (assuming one is vaxed and boosted)

i'm not saying anything about your sister, but that made me think to make this comment
